Tonight, Oct. 24, on public television WNET, NY's Channel 13, the "City Arts" program is scheduled to examine why non-musical plays have made a comeback on Broadway this season. Expected interviewees include Edward Albee (A Delicate Balance), Nathan Lane, Elaine Stritch, and playwright John Patrick Shanley. It's a curious line-up, considering that Nathan Lane is in a musical (Forum) and that John Patrick Shanley has never had a show on Broadway. (Shanley's Missing/Kissing just opened Off-Broadway.)
"City Arts" is scheduled to air at 8 PM (ET).
