News Woman in White to Offer Signed Performance in February 2005 The London production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Woman in White will offer a special signed performance in February 2005.

The 7:30 PM performance on Feb. 24, 2005, will be signed for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. According to the Really Useful website, Terry Ruane will sign the performance with 40 orchestra seats specially designated for those with hearing difficulties. Tickets for this special performance, priced at £35, are now available by calling 0870 895 5505.

The Woman in White features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by David Zippel and a book by Charlotte Jones. The remainder of the creative team comprises William Dudley (set and costume design), Paul Pyant (lighting design), Mick Potter (sound design), Wayne McGregor (dance and movement) and Simon Lee (musical supervisor). The musical — co-starring Maria Friedman and Crawford — began previews at the newly refurbished Palace Theatre Aug. 28 with an official opening Sept. 15. Trevor Nunn directs.
