News Women Beware Women Extends Off-Broadway Through January The Red Bull Theater Company's production of Thomas Middleton's satire Women Beware Women has been extended Off-Broadway an additional two weeks.

Red Bull artistic director Jesse Berger staged the revival of the Jacobean work, which officially opened Dec. 13 and was scheduled to conclude Jan. 5, 2009. Women Beware Women – with healthy reviews in tow – will now run through Jan. 18, 2009.

Berger adapted the work that incorporates live musicians into its cast. The company features Anthony Bagnetto, Jeff Biehl, Darcie Champagne, Geraint Wyn Davies, Jodi Epstein, Al Espinosa, Jacob Fishel, Jonathan Fried, Jennifer Ikeda, Lisa Helmi Johanson, Marc LeVasseur, Roberta Maxwell, Kathryn Meisle, Alex Morf, Alison Ostergaard, Everett Quinton, Liv Rooth, John Douglas Thompson and Shannon Wicks.

First published in 1657, Women Beware Women, according to press notes, "speaks with a shockingly contemporary voice about sexual politics, even as it is a playful parody of serious sexual games, ultimately showing a society imploding under the pressure of sexual manipulation, victimization and inequality."

Women Beware Women has original music by Scott Killian with choreography by Tracy Bersley and fight choreography by Rick Sordelet. Designs are provided by David Barber (scenic design), Clint Ramos (costume design), Peter West (lighting design) and Christopher Peifer (sound design).

Tickets are available by visiting www.ticketcentral.com or by calling (212) 279-4200. The Theater at St. Clement's is located at 423 West 46th Street in Manhattan.
