News Women of Avenue Q Create Breast Cancer Awareness Video The long-running Off-Broadway production of Avenue Q has released a video urging women not to miss their annual breast exam, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In addition to the cast and crew, the message features the Tony-winning show's producer and breast cancer survivor, Robyn Goodman.

Avenue Q marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a special ticket price of $50 throughout October, including a donation to Cancer Center NYC. Ticket buyers should use the code Code AQAWARE50 when purchasing tickets.

Now in its 12th year on New York stages and in companies worldwide, Avenue Q is a musical comedy about a group of people (and monsters) who live on a rundown street in one of New York City's outer boroughs. Their stories interweave themes of love, friendship, sexuality and finding your individual way. The show features music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, a book by Jeff Whitty, direction by Jason Moore, and puppets conceived and designed by Rick Lyon.
