Feinstein's/54 Below will present Women of the World, a concert showcasing Broadway songs exclusively written and composed by women, June 16. The evening will feature performances from The Great Comet's Shoba Narayan and Spamilton's Lauren Villegas, as well as Carly Kincannon and Kim Onah.
The evening will feature selections from Broadway shows The Color Purple, Waitress, and Fun Home, and as well as new songs from female composers, including Georgia Stitt. The songs have been especially selected for their ability to shine light on the need for women’s empowerment.
Women of the World is executive produced by Jacob Stuckelman and directed by Susanna Wolk. The concert will feature music direction by Eugenio Vargas and stage management by TJ Lyon.
