News Women's Project Season to Feature Works by Jessica Dickey, Catherine Trieschmann, Kara Lee Corthron and More The Women’s Project Theater, a company that produces plays written and directed by women, announced its upcoming season. The lineup includes historical works, dark comedies and small-town satires.

The season will begin with Row After Row, by Jessica Dickey and directed by Daniella Topol, a dark comedy about a group of Civil war re-enactors. Performances run Jan. 15, 2014-Feb. 16.

February will feature The Architecture of Becoming, a series of short works inspired by the history of New York City by Kara Lee Corthron, Sarah Gancher, Virginia Grise, Dipika Guha and Lauren Yee. Directed by Elena Araoz, Lydia Fort, and Lauren Keating, performances run Feb. 25-March 23.

Most Deserving, a satire about a small Kansas arts council by Catherine Trieschmann, begins in March, directed by Shelley Butler. Performances begin March 30 and run through May 4.

All three shows will be presented at New York City Center Stage II.
