Keira Naughton will lead Barrington's Wonder of the World.

The limited engagement — which is being presented in the Duffin Theater at Lenox Memorial Middle and High School in Lenox, MA — will play through Aug. 5. Rob Ruggiero directs a cast that features Keira Naughton, Finnerty Steeves, Rob Hutchison, Dan Cantor, Libby George, William Bogert and Susan Louise O’Connor. In Wonder of the World, according to press notes, “Cass [Naughton] discovers a dirty secret in her husband’s sweater drawer [and] she has no choice but to pack her bags and head for of all places, Niagara Falls. In her frantic search for the life she thinks she missed out on, Cass crosses paths with a host of eccentrics in a spiral of misadventures that push her perilously close to the water’s edge.” The play premiered at Manhattan Theatre Club with a cast that boasted Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristine Nielsen, Kevin Chamberlain and Amy Sedaris.

The creative team for the Barrington mounting comprises Luke Cantarella (set design), Anne Kenney (costume design), Scott Pinkney (lighting design) and Vinnie Oliveri (sound design).

Keira Naughton has starred in the Williamstown Theatre Festival in productions of Hard Times and Miss Julie. She has been seen on the New York stage in Indoor/Outdoor, The Rivals, The Three Sisters, Dance of Death, All My Sons, The American Clock and Hotel Universe. She appeared in the Kennedy Center production of Company and Arena Stage’s mounting of Proof. Naughton is also a singer-songwriter who plays Mrs. Peterson in the band The Petersons.
