On Jan. 26 Westfeldt will take part in the series, which offers lectures by some of the theatre's top actors, writers, directors, musicians and visual artists. A project of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, previous participants include Edward Albee, Betty Comden, Alan Bates, Olympia Dukakis, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Cherry Jones, Ming Cho Lee, Lloyd Richards, Sidney Poitier, Roy Scheider, Herb Gardner and Lynn Redgrave.
Westfeldt will speak about her experiences in theatre, television and film, and a question-and-answer session will follow. The lecture will be held at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting at 6:30 PM.
Jennifer Westfeldt is currently making her Broadway debut as Eileen Sherwood in the revival of Wonderful Town at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. She is, perhaps, best known for co-writing, co-producing and playing the title role in the indie hit "Kissing Jessica Stein." Her theatrical credits include The Fantasticks, Peter Pan, Sweeney Todd, Arms and the Man, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Carousel, My Fair Lady and Fiorello!.
