News Words of Helen Keller Inspire Three Days to See, Premiering Tonight The Transport Group production of Three Days to See, a play based on the words of American author Helen Keller, begins previews July 12 at Theatre 79.

The cast features Barbara Walsh (Falsettos), Theresa McCarthy (Titanic), Patrick Boll (Mamma Mia!), Marc de la Cruz (If/Then), Ito Aghayere ("Orange is the New Black"), Chinaza Uche ("Bintou") and Zoe Wilson.

Performances run through Aug. 16.

Conceived and helmed by Jack Cummings III, founding artistic director, Three Days to See creates a moving, funny and intimate portrait of one of the greatest thinkers of our times. The show promises to reveal a "hidden story of luminous intelligence and extraordinary accomplishment" as the ensemble of actors work to shatter and reshape audience expectations of this American icon. "Your perception of this trailblazer, and possibly of your whole world, will never be the same," state press notes.
