News World Premiere of Sex with A Stranger at London's Trafalgar Studios to Feature Russell Tovey Russell Tovey, best known as one of the original stars of Alan Bennett's The History Boys at the National, on Broadway and on film and for TV's "Him and Her" and "Gavin and Stacey," will co-star with Jaimie Winstone and Naomi Sheldon in the world premiere of Stefan Golaszewski's Sex with A Stranger, beginning performances at London's Trafalgar Studios Feb. 1, 2012, prior to an official opening Feb. 6, for a run through Feb. 25.

The production will be directed by Phillip Breen and produced by the Invisible Dot Ltd.

In the play, "Adam is stuck in a relationship rut. His over-protective girlfriend keeps him on a tight leash but his mate's birthday is an opportunity to spend a few hours free of the ball and chain, until a chance meeting in a nightclub offers the opportunity of excitement and a test for Adam's resolve."

Playwright Golaszewski is a member of the comedy sketch group Cowards (Edinburgh Fringe, Radio 4, BBC 4). He has performed his critically acclaimed one-man plays Stefan Golazewski Speaks About A Girl He Once Loved and Stefan Golaszewski is a Widower at the Edinburgh Fringe before performing them both as The Stefan Golaszewski Plays in New York and at the Bush Theatre, London. He is currently writing his third series of "Him & Her," the BBC 3 comedy show starring Russell Tovey and Sarah Solemani.

Winstone was last seen onstage in The Fastest Clock in the Universe (at Leicester's Curve and London's Hampstead Theatre). Her film appearances include "Dagenham Girls" and "Donkey Punch." Sheldon recently appeared in Daisy Pulls it Off (Lyric Hammersmith) and Reclining Nude with Black Stockings (Arcola).
