Artistic Director Maja Ardal has announced the 1997-98 season for Young Peoples Theatre.

The mainstage shows are:

Oct 16 - 26. Ninguls by Soh Kurzamoto performed in Japanese with English surtitiles
Nov 4 - Jan 4 Jacob Two-Two's First Spy Case, by Mordecai Richler.
A world premiere staging of Richler's latest novel.
Feb 17 - Mar 22 Old Friends created and performed by Ronnie Burkett with music written and performed by Cathy Nosaty Marionettes and music. A co-production with Manitoba Theatre for Young People
Mar 31 - May 17. Anne by L.M. Montgomery adapted by Paul Ledoux. A world premiere of this new adaptation

The Studio Stage shows are:
Dec 8 - 28 Minibugs and Microchips by Robert Priest, a world premiere
Jan 25 - Mar 22 Jumping Mouse by Columpa C. Bobb and Marion de Vries

Family Concert Series
Aug 9 - Sep 21 Polkaroo and the Polkadot Flu
Jan 17 - Feb 8 Castle Rocks
Apr 18 - May 24 Make Music With Eric Nagler & CJ Programming for Schools
Nov 17 - Dec 5 The Other Side of the Closet by Edward Roy. A world premiere.
Nov 24 - Dec 15 The Evolution of Jazz
Feb 17 - Mar 12 Shakespeare Unplugged: The Tempest, adapted by John Dolan
