News Xanadu Star Butler Lands Recurring Role on NBC's "Lipstick Jungle" Kerry Butler, who stars in the new Broadway musical Xanadu, will be featured in a recurring role on the NBC series "Lipstick Jungle," according to a network spokesperson.

The new "dramedy" premieres Feb. 7 at 10 PM (ET); check your local listings.

Based on the best-selling novel by Candace Bushnell ("Sex and the City"), "Lipstick Jungle" stars Brooke Shields (Wonderful Town, "Nip/Tuck," "Suddenly Susan") as one of three high-powered women opposite Kim Raver (Holiday, "24") and Lindsay Price ("Beverly Hills, 90210").

Andrew McCarthy (Fat Pig), David Alan Basche (Snakebit) and David Norona (Jersey Boys) are also featured in the series, as is Paul Blackthorne ("Big Shots"). Edward Herrmann (Mrs. Warren's Profession, Psychopathia Sexualis), Matthew Morrison (Hairspray), Scott Cohen (Losing Louie) and Julian Sands (Stuff Happens, "24") are also scheduled to appear.

Butler stars as Kira (the role Olivia Newton-John played in the film) in the Broadway musical Xanadu. Other Broadway credits include Little Shop of Horrors, Hairspray, Beauty and the Beast, Les Misérables and Blood Brothers. She has also appeared in Bat Boy The Musical, The Opposite of Sex, Miracle Brothers and Prodigal.
