News   Xanadu's Jackson Lands TV Pilot Cheyenne Jackson, who currently plays Sonny in the new Broadway musical Xanadu, has landed a lead role in a new television pilot for the Lifetime cable network.

The Hollywood Reporter says Jackson will play the role of Sebastian in the upcoming pilot for the new drama "Family Practice." The Sony Pictures TV production, according to the trade paper, "centers on a woman (Joey Honsa) from South Chicago who becomes entangled personally and professionally with the affluent, Kennedyesque family members of one of the city's law firms, the Kinglares."

Michael Muhney has also been added to the cast. He will play Jackson's brother Kent, the younger of the Kinglare sons. Beau Bridges will play the father.

Cheyenne Jackson, who was seen in the film "United 93," has appeared on Broadway in Xanadu, All Shook Up, Aida and Thoroughly Modern Millie. He starred in the premiere cast of Altar Boyz, and his regional credits include West Side Story, The Most Happy Fella, Children of Eden, Hair, Carousel, Damn Yankees and Kismet. Jackson is a member of the Broadway Inspirational Voices and was recently seen Off-Broadway in The Agony and the Agony.
