A tribute to one of America's greatest songwriters, E.Y. "Yip" Harburg, will be held Monday Feb. 1 at 8 PM at the Mark Taper Forum. Part of the Center Theatre Group's "Salon at the Taper" Series, "Look to the Rainbow" will be hosted by Michael Feinstein and will feature song, verse and reminiscences. "Salon at the Taper" is CTG's seventh annual benefit which celebrates luminaries of the American musical theatre and popular song. Feinstein will be joined by a roster of other musical performers in this evening honoring the man who wrote such standards as "April in Paris," "It's Only a Paper Moon" and "Old Devil Moon." In all, Harburg wrote lyrics to over five hundred songs with such composers as Harold Arlen, Burton Lane and Jerome Kern, among others. His musicals include Finian's Rainbow and Bloomer Girl.

Tickets for the benefit are $250 and include a cast party following the performance in the Grand Hall of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. A limited number of $100 tickets (cast party not included) in Section B of the Taper are also available. Call Shawn Ashe at (213) 972-7660.
