The White Barn Theatre's summer-stock-in-the-city 2003 season continues June 21-22 with William Bolcom, Joan Morris and Max Morath performing Over the Rainbow: Music to the Lyrics of E.Y. Yip Harburg. Performances of the Bolcom and Morris show, featuring songs from Finian's Rainbow, Bloomer Girl, "The Wizard of Oz" and more, began June 20 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. While Wesport, Connecticut's famous White Barn Theatre (founded by Lortel) is undergoing renovations, an abbreviated cabaret series season is being presented in Greenwich Village.

Bolcom is the Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and pianist who often performs and records with his mezzo-soprano wife, Morris. Their show tune albums of songs by Cole Porter, vaudeville-era songwriters, Irving Berlin and others are cherished by fans of American music for the clean, no-nonsense approach to the material.

Composers represented in the Harburg show include Harold Arlen, Sammy Fain, June Styne, Burton Lane, Vernon Duke and others.

Performances contine 2 & 8 PM June 21, 3 & 7 PM June 22 at the Lortel, 121 Christopher Street between Hudson and Bleecker.

Tickets Saturday at 8 PM are $35. Tickets are $30 other times, with student rush seats one-half hour before showtime. For tickets, call (212) 239-6200. For more about Bolcom and Morris, visit http://www.bolcomandmorris.com.
