Joshua Bell's Romance of the Violin, which has been on the chart for 90 weeks and peaked in the top spot, moved up from number five to number two.
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir's America's Choir: Favorite Songs, Hymns & Anthems, which topped the chart last week, plunged to number ten. The group's Choose Something Like a Star, which was at number one two weeks ago and number two last week, dropped to number five.
New entries on the chart included Les Travailleurs de la mer, a collection of songs from the island of Guernsey performed by baritone Paul Hillier and the Harp Consort, which debuted at number 22. A recording of Rameau's Une Symphonie imaginaire by Les Musicieans du Louvre, led by Marc Minkowski, made its first appearance at number 25.
The eponymous debut album from the vocal quartet Il Divo remained at number one on the crossover classical chart for the 12th week. New to the chart were Philip Glass's Orion, at number 19, and In the Presence, the third album from former "singing cop" Daniel Rodriguez, at number 24.
