Following a widely praised debut at the Royal Court, The York Realist, Peter Gill's tale of early 1960s gay love and Northern rural society is to transfer to the Strand Theatre.
The play has already extended at the Royal Court (to Feb. 9) as a result of the strikingly good notices it received in the national press.
The transfer, which takes place on March 8, for a six week period, will follow the closure of long-running musical Buddy.
