News Young Theatre Writers Will Discuss "Behind the Music-al: Teenage Dreams" at 92YTribeca Young theatre writers — including Glory Days author and Godspell cast member Nick Blaemire — will discuss writing for young audiences as part of "Behind the Music-al: Teenage Dreams" Feb. 22 at the 92YTribeca.

Disney Theatrical Group's VP of creative development Steve Fickinger will moderate the 8 PM discussion that will also include the writing teams of Kate Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk (The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown) and Kyle Ewalt and Michael I. Walker (Bromance: the Dudesical, The Making of Madeline Moore).

According to 92YTribeca, "See how the next generation of hot musical theatre composers are exploring youth culture. How can contemporary musical theatre speak to a younger audience? What makes a compelling tale out of a teenage dilemma?" The event will also include new songs authored by the writers.
