The 7 PM concert takes place in the auditorium of PS 166 and features Ziemba (Curtains, Contact) and Irwin (Bye Bye Birdie, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf), as well as cast members from Billy Elliot, South Pacific, A Year with Frog and Toad and Bye Bye Birdie.

The performance also includes young actors from Broadway shows, who will participate in a Q&A session with the audience following the show.

Proceeds from Broadway Sings will help alleviate budget cuts, which PS 166 and other New York City public schools have faced.

PS 166, otherwise known as the Richard Rodgers School of Arts and Technology, is dedicated to supporting and promoting theater arts in the school, particularly works by Richard Rodgers who attended the school and is its namesake.
