A host of theatre performers will take part in a benefit for The WorkShop Theater Company, previously known as The 42nd Street Workshop.
The second annual Cabaret Benefit — scheduled for 7:30 PM Oct. 28 — will feature an evening of music and comedy from Tony winner Karen Ziemba, James Brennan, Carleton Carpenter, Robert Cuccioli, David Garrison, Nancy Hess, Rosemary Loar, Ron Raines, Gerrianne Raphael, Valerie Wright and Emily Zacharias. Darren Cohen will be the evening's musical director.
The benefit — also featuring raffles prizes — will be held at The Bottom Line, which is located at 15 West 4th Street. Tickets are priced at $200 per person and are available by calling (212) 695-4173; those wishing to pay by credit card should call (212) 206-1515. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
Under the leadership of artistic director Tony Sportiello and executive director Riley Jones-Cohen, The WorkShop Theater Company can be found in New York City at 312 West 36th Street. The Company boasts two theatres on its fourth floor: the Jewel Box and the Main Stage.
