News Ziemba, Irwin, Billy Elliot and More Set for Broadway Sings Benefit Tony Award winners Karen Ziemba and Bill Irwin will headline Broadway Sings, a Feb. 8 benefit for PS 166, the Richard Rodgers School of Arts and Technology.

The 7 PM concert will be held in the auditorium of PS 166 and will feature Ziemba (Curtains, Contact) and Irwin (Bye Bye Birdie, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf), as well as cast members from Billy Elliot, South Pacific, A Year with Frog and Toad and Bye Bye Birdie.

The performance will also feature young actors from Broadway shows, who will participate in a Q&A session with the audience following the show.

Proceeds from Broadway Sings will help alleviate budget cuts, which PS 166 and other New York City public schools have faced.

* PS 166, otherwise known as the Richard Rodgers School of Arts and Technology, is dedicated to supporting and promoting theater arts in the school, particularly works by Richard Rodgers who attended the school and is its namesake.
