News Ziggy Stardust to Rise and Fall Again at Bleecker Street Theatre's Space Oddity Halloween Event Sarah Mucho and System Noise will bring back their acclaimed live interpretation of David Bowie's classic album, "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars," on Halloween to the Bleecker Street Theatre.

The concert will be the centerpiece of the Bleecker Street's Space Oddity: Halloween 2010 event at 11 PM, which will also feature The Lounge-O-Leers at 10:30 PM and 12 AM and Wounded Buffalo Theory at 12:30 AM, in addition to prizes, drink specials and free candy.

Mucho and System Noise (which also includes Kurt Leege, Paul Pouthier, Sanford Arisumi, Michael Isaacs and Clare Cooper) last performed Ziggy Stardust in October 2005. They will return with new cast members Liz Lark Brown, Rob Malko and Mark Bailey, under the direction of filmmaker/playwright Aaron Mark.

"Using elements of theatre and cabaret along with the pure excitement and energy of rock and roll (much like Bowie himself)," press notes state, Mucho "remains true to its musical brilliance while interjecting her own commentary and style throughout."

The Lounge-O-Leers' act, featuring cabaret's Ricky Ritzel and Aaron Morishita, is described this way: "Playing a mélange of bachelor pad sounds in their trademark deadpan style throughout the event, the Lounge-O-Leers present a living soundtrack expressly for the entertainment of the subconscious mind." Wounded Buffalo Theory "will take the stage for the dancing/party portion of the night, all set to images from Halloween-themed sci-fi films."

The Bleecker Street Theatre is located at 45 Bleecker Street. For tickets, visit telecharge.com.
