Tsakalakos, a protégé of William Finn, will be joined by Heath Calvert (Good Vibrations), Demond Green, Christy McIntosh, Fania M. Tsakalakos, Lori Brooke Cohan, Brandon Anderson and Make Me A Song's Alysha Umphress. Tsakalakos and company are backed by musicians Brian Usifer (musical director/piano), Jeff Roberts (percussion), Jordan Jancz (bass) and Sean Mahoney (guitar). The evening is produced by Tsakalakos and Charlie Siedenburg.
The evening will feature music inspired by Finn as well as pieces Tsakalakos penned with other writers. Tsakalakos is currently pursuing his MFA at NYU's Musical Theatre Writing Program as a composer/lyricist. As a singer/songwriter Tsakalakos has played the Viper Room, the Roxy and the Troubadour with his band Saint Friday.
