News Zoom Zaloom! Obie Winner Back in Mighty Nice Jan. 3-12 at P.S. 122 Paul Zaloom, the Obie-winning puppeteer and satirist who created TV's "Beakman's World," returns to New York with his latest surreal show, Mighty Nice, Jan. 3-12 at Off-Off- Broadway's P.S. 122.

Zaloom last appeared in New York in 2000's Velvetville, a three-ring puppet circus performed before a backdrop of black velvet paintings. Mightly Nice is three short works, The Punch and Jimmy Show (a traditional Punch and Judy show, updated as a gay couple), Don't (a mock anti-drug presentation with a police officer and his drugged-out, life-sized dummy, Billy) and 2222 (an apocalypic look at life in 2222, when the ocean has come to Kansas, animals are growing human parts and there's Total Information Awareness).
