Most challenging role you have ever played:
Definitely Campbell in Bring It On
Biggest challenge about this current project:
Singing while dancing AND stunting
Worst flubbed line/missed cue/onstage mishap:
Oh gosh, I've had plenty of flubbed lines. With the show changing throughout the past year, my free-styling skills have vastly improved.
Worst costume ever:
Playing a tree in The Wizard of Oz. I wore a unitard with leaves glued on to it!
Worst job you ever had:
Mowing grass, although I did get a nice tan.
If you could trade roles/tracks with anyone in the show for a week, who would it be?
Kate Rockwell/ Skylar
Were you ever a cheerleader, or play any sports in high school?
Never a cheerleader, but I played soccer and basketball in high school!
Favorite thing about being in NYC after all of this time on the road:
Being able to decorate my apartment! Pinterest addict. :-D
Most memorable stage door experience from the road:
Meeting former President George Bush Sr.
Leading lady role you've been dying to play: Glinda in Wicked
Leading man role you wish you could play: Elder Cunningham in Book of Mormon
Something about you that surprises people: I can kick your butt in basketball ;-)
Something you are incredibly proud of:
My roots. Not my hair roots (I have those too) but being from a small town in the middle of nowhere.
Something you're embarrassed to admit:
I broke my arm when I was in 5th grade and now it's crooked.
Career you would want if not a performer:
Three things you can't live without:
Chocolate, candles and my family
"I'll never understand why…"
… the subways can't be a little bit less gross looking. I mean everyone and their brother relies on the subway system here in NYC. Can't we make them look a little bit nicer? I'll volunteer to bedazzle a train! ;-)
Words of advice for aspiring performers:
Work hard and be nice!
