ANTHONY WARD has worked extensively in London’s West End and on Broadway. His work includes Dying City (Lincoln Center), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Tony Award nomination and Outer Critics Circle Award, Set Design), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Olivier Award, Set Design; Tony nomination), Oklahoma! (Olivier Award and Outer Critics Circle Award, Set Design; Drama Desk nomination), Gypsy, Mary Stuart, Oliver!, My Fair Lady. For the Brooklyn Academy of Music: Uncle Vanya (Obie Award, Set Design), Macbeth (Olivier and Tony Award nominations, Set Design), Twelfth Night. In England, Anthony has designed for the National Theatre, RSC, Donmar Warehouse and the Almeida Theatre. Opera and ballet designs include The Markopoulos Case (Met Opera), Peter Grimes (Opera North), Nutcracker! (Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures).
