TERRY JOHNSON
TERRY JOHNSON (Writer/Director ) has written and directed the plays Dead Funny (Time Out and Writers' Guild Awards, Lloyds Bank Private Banking Playwright of the Year) and Cleo, Camping, Emmanuelle and Dick (Olivier Award for Best Comedy). He has written the plays Hysteria (Olivier Award for Best Comedy and the Writer's Guild Award for Best West End Play), Imagine Drowning (John Whiting Award), Cries from the Mammal House, Unsuitable for Adults and Insignificance (Plays & Players and Evening Standard Most Promising Playwright Awards). He has directed the West End productions of The Memory of Water, Elton John's Glasses, Entertaining Mr. Sloane and the world premiere of Philip Ridley's Sparkleshark at the Royal National Theatre. He adapted and directed Edward Ravenscroft's The London Cuckolds, also at the RNT. His film credits include the screen version of Cleo, Camping entitled Cor Blimey! , Tim Firth's Neville's Island and Alan Ayckbourn's Way Upstream.
