RICHARD HENRY MORRIS
RICHARD HENRY MORRIS (Book, Original Story and Screenplay) wrote the film Thoroughly Modern Millie, which won seven Oscar nominations and a WGA Award - Best American Musical. Broadway acclaim came with The Unsinkable Molly Brown (libretto). His television contributions (writing/directing) garnered Morris an Emmy nomination. Prior to his death, he completed the initial stage adaptation of Thoroughly Modern Millie with Dick Scanlan, capping a successful career in the theatre, motion pictures and television.
