HAL LUFTIG Three-time Tony Award-winning producer Hal Luftig has worked on and off Broadway for the past 25 years. Broadway: Come Fly Away, West Side Story, All My Sons, Legally Blonde, The Times They Are A-Changin’, Whoopi, Movin’ Out, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Seussical, Taller Than a Dwarf, Annie Get Your Gun, High Society, The Diary of Anne Frank, Play On!, The King and I, Moon Over Buffalo, Angels in America, Jelly’s Last Jam, Death and the Maiden, The Secret Garden, I Hate Hamlet. Off-Broadway: Lobby Hero, The Lady in Question, Snakebit, The Bomb-itty of Errors. He is currently developing two new musicals, Kinky Boots by Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, and The Last Goodbye, a musical adaptation of Romeo and Juliet featuring the music of Jeff Buckley. In 2012, he will bring Michael Grandage’s acclaimed production of Evita to Broadway starring Ricky Martin and Elena Roger. Hal has an MFA from Columbia University and an ulcer from tension.
