Composer/arranger/conductor, film/TV: Mike Nichols, Franco Zeffirelli, Sidney Lumet, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, “Murder, She Wrote,” “Columbo.” Arranger/conductor, recordings: Kristin Chenoweth, Bernadette Peters, Judy Collins, Placido Domingo, Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand, Paul McCartney. One of only eight persons holding Tony, Emmy, Grammy and Academy Awards. Elected to Theatre Hall of Fame in 2009.
