WALTER BOBBIE
WALTER BOBBIE won Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for the international hit Chicago, which has become the longest-running revival in Broadway history. Recent New York productions include The Savannah Disputation (Playwrights Horizons); The Marriage of Bette and Boo (Roundabout); No, No, Nanette (Encores!); David Ives’s New Jerusalem (Classic Stage); and last season’s Broadway premiere of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Other Broadway includes High Fidelity, Sweet Charity,Twentieth Century and Footloose. Mr. Bobbie was artistic director of City Center’s acclaimed Encores! series, and serves on the Executive Board of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
