HOWARD THIES
received both an Obie and a Bessie Award for Sustained Excellence in Lighting
Design, and is the first lighting designer to have received the Foundation for Contemporary Performance Art fellowship. In
2001, he received a second Obie Award for his lighting design of Jennie Richee (Ridge Theater). When not in the theatre he
can be found at Central Park SummerStage. What a long strange trip it's been.
