Urinetown marks Cavanagh's return to
Broadway (Sam in Shenandoah) and a reunion for Tom and Shenandoah star John Cullum. Tom is pleased to be joining such an outstanding
group and is continuously amazed at the talent and generosity of
this cast. Some of Cavanagh's other favorite roles include Danny
Zuko in Grease, Cliff in Cabaret, Don in A Chorus Line and Eugene
in Brighton Beach Memoirs. On TV, Tom is the bowling alley/lawyer
of NBC's "Ed" (People's Choice, TV Guide Award, Golden Globe
nomination) and has been on numerous series in Canada and the
U.S., including his run as Dog Boy on "Providence" Among his film
credits are Northern Lights, The Dukes and Magic in the Water;
more recently he starred in the Showtime movie "Bang Bang You're
Dead," for which he received an Emmy nomination and a Peabody
Award.
