MATT HANKLE

Matt is excited to be performing with Blue Man Group! Hailing from Teaneck, NJ, Matt began his professional career with Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus at age 17 and then went on to receive a degree in music at the University of Miami. Matt has toured Austria, Germany, Croatia and Bosnia with Gottfried Stoger and Dreamhunter. He has also performed at the Guggenheim Museum and Deer Head Inn with Kenny Werner and Ratzo Harris. Matt recorded with Todd Rundgren in 1999 and performed for a month at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas with jazz vocalist Rosemary Watson. He is a recipient of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Clifford Brown/Stan Getz fellowship. Matt also currently plays in Chicago on Broadway. He would like to thank his super supportive family, Vic Firth sticks and Remo heads.
