RICHARD STILGOE
RICHARD STILGOE (Book and Additional Lyrics) lives on a building site in England with his wife, children, and a Komatsu PC 120 digger. In his spare time he writes lyrics (Cats, Starlight Express, The Phantom of the Opera), whole musicals (Bodywork, Brilliant the Dinosaur), performs in cabaret and plays cricket. He also directs the Orpheus Trust, which organizes music and drama courses for people with disabilities. For his radio work he has won the New York Radio Festival Gold Award, three Monte Carlo prizes and the Prix Italia--a record unmatched in broadcasting.
