TSHIDI MANYE

TSHIDI MANYE Singer, actress and dancer. She started working with her mother doing shows in schools and churches. She joined Mbongeni Ngema in Sarafina (Europe and Japan) followed by Daughter of Nebo, by Hillary Bletcher, at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. She also worked with Aubrey Sekhabi in The Stick and with Gibson Kente in Mfowethu and has been a freelance artist with such greats as Jabu Khanyile, Hugh Masekela, Sbonquile Khumala and Vusi Mahlasela. She was featured in the millennium show in Pretoria with the Big Band. In 1997, she released the album Sisters of Joy with her friend and in 1998 joined The Lion King. In God's grace I was chosen to take part in the show, which is quite an honor.
