has enjoyed an impressive film career playing a range of both dramatic and
comedic roles while working with a diverse group of actors and the top directors in the industry.
Beginning with his Golden Globe-nominated performance in Jonathan Demme's Something Wild,
Liotta went on to portray the role of a medical student caring for his mentally challenged brother in
Dominick and Eugene. Next he played the soul-searching ghost, Shoeless Joe Jackson, in the
Academy Award-nominated Field of Dreams. Perhaps his most widespread acclaim came from
Martin Scorcese's Oscar-nominated Best Picture, Goodfellas, in which he starred opposite Robert
De Niro and Joe Pesci. Liotta has shown his acting diversity in comedies such as Corrina, Corrina
with Whoopi Goldberg and Heartbreakers with Gene Hackman and Sigourney Weaver, along with
thrillers such as Unlawful Entry with Kurt Russell, Ted Demme's Blow with Johnny Depp, Nick
Cassavetes' John Q with Denzel Washington and Robert Duvall and Ridley Scott's Hannibal
opposite Anthony Hopkins and Julianne Moore. Recent films include Narc (IFP Award
nomination for Best Actor) and Identity with John Cusack. He received a Screen Actors Guild
nomination for his portrayal of Frank Sinatra in HBO's "The Rat Pack." Other notable television
credits include special guest star appearances as himself on "Just Shoot Me" as well as hosting
"Saturday Night Live." Liotta recently founded Tiara Blu Productions, which premiered Narc at
the 2002 Sundance Film Festival. Upcoming projects include the films Slow Burn and Control.
While he makes his Broadway debut with Match, he first worked on the Great White Way as a
bartender for the Shubert Organization.
