MARK THOMPSON MARK THOMPSON has designed many productions for the National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company. On Broadway, he designed Bombay Dreams, Life (x) 3, Mamma Mia!, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Arcadia (Lincoln Center), Art, The Blue Room, Blast!, Follies (set only), The Unexpected Man and Shadowlands. The Metropolitan Opera: The Queen of Spades and Macbeth. In London, Mark has worked many times in the West End and at the Almeida, Donmar and Royal Court. He designed the costumes for the film The Madness of King George and is the recipient of four Olivier Awards. Recent work includes England People Very Nice and The Rose Tattoo (both at National Theatre), and Female of the Species with Eileen Atkins in the West End.
