ED WITTSTEIN
ED WITTSTEIN started Off-Broadway in 1949 with the American Premiere of Gertrude Stein’s Yes, Is For A Very Young Man. He has designed on and off Broadway, for television, film and opera, working with such directors as Mike Nichols, Jerome Robbins, Harold Pinter, Alan Schneider, Allan Parker and Franco Zeffirelli. Highlights include The Fantasticks (original & 30th Anniversary tour), Celebration, I Do! I Do!, Colette Collage, the musical Kean, Zero Mostel in Ulysses in Nighttown, Woody Allen’s films Bananas and Play it Again, Sam.
