DOUG HUGHES His most recent New York production is The Whipping Man for MTC’s Stage 1. Broadway work includes Elling, Mrs. Warren’s Profession, Oleanna, The Royal Family, A Man for All Seasons, A Naked Girl on the Appian Way, Mauritius, Inherit the Wind, A Touch of the Poet, Frozen and Doubt. He has also worked extensively Off-Broadway and at most of the nation’s leading theatres. Hughes serves as the resident director of the Roundabout Theatre Company and on the board of SDC. He has been awarded Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Lucille Lortel, Obie and Callaway awards for his productions.
