LOU MYERS
LOU MYERS The Color Purple marked Lou's fourth Broadway appearance. He is best known as the restaurant owner on TV's "A Different World." He won the NAACP Best Actor Award and an AUDELCO Award for August Wilson's King Hedley II. Mr. Myers first appeared onstage in New York with the Negro Ensemble Company's production of The First Breeze of Summer and played on Broadway in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and The Piano Lesson. His cabaret show has been acclaimed in Berlin, Paris, Hong Kong, New York as well as in Los Angeles at the Roosevelt Hotel.
