DAVID CRYER is a veteran of 13 Broadway shows, including more than 1,000 performances of Peron in Evita. A graduate of DePauw University, he was the Red Shadow in The Desert Song, Rutledge in 1776, the Celebrant in Bernstein’s Mass, Ari in Ari and received a Theatre World Award for Come Summer. He was Detroit’s Best Actor for his Sweeney Todd. He was in the films Escape From Alcatraz and American Gigolo and on TV in “Dallas,” “Wonder Woman,” “The Magician,” “Spenser: For Hire,” “Law & Order,” “Our Town” and “As the World Turns.” David was a soloist with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and with his wife Britt Swanson he directed Mass for Seattle Opera. Their children are Rachel, Daniel, Carolyn and Billy. His older children are Robin and Jon.
