EDGAR DOBIE North American executive producer/Riverdream. Broadway producing credits: Boublil & Schönberg’s The Pirate Queen,Sunset Boulevard (Tony Award, Best Musical), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Paul Simon’s The Capeman,The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, managing producer 1999/2000 Tony Awards. Mr. Dobie’s commercial theatre career began with producing the Toronto and touring productions of The Phantom of the Opera. For six years he was president of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Really Useful Company. He has enjoyed a career in public theatre as executive director/Trinity Rep, Providence, Canadian Stage Company, Toronto, National Arts Centre, Ottawa, New Play Centre, Vancouver.
