MICHAEL PATRICK WALKER
MICHAEL PATRICK WALKER Altar Boyz marks Michael’s Off-Broadway composing debut. He is proud to say that Altar Boyz won the 2005 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway Musical. In addition, Michael was nominated for two Drama Desk Awards (of the show’s seven total), for Music and Lyrics, and for a Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Musical. He is a contributing composer for the Disney Channel series “Johnny and the Sprites” and is currently the associate conductor of Avenue Q on Broadway. Other Broadway credits include Wicked, Thoroughly Modern Millie, La Bohème and The Lion King. Thanks to everyone at the theatre for making him proud every night.
