AARON TVEIT

AARON TVEIT iis thrilled to have landed on Broadway with this brilliant team and company after stopovers at numerous developmental workshops and a summer tryout at the Seattle 5th Avenue Theatre. Aaron received the 2009 Actors’ Equity Association Clarence Derwent Award for Most Promising Actor, a Helen Hayes Award and a Lucille Lortel nomination for his work originating the role of the son, Gabe, in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical Next to Normal. Other Broadway: Wicked (Fiyero), Hairspray (Link Larkin). Off-Broadway: Saved (Playwrights Horizons), Next to Normal (Second Stage). Tours: Hairspray, Rent. Regional: Catch Me If You Can (Seattle 2009) and the 2010 Hollywood Bowl production of Rent. Film: Premium Rush, Girl Walks Into a Bar, Howl, Ghost Town. TV: guest star appearances on “Body of Proof” (ABC), “Ugly Betty” (ABC) and “Law & Order: SVU” (NBC). Additionally he portrayed the recurring character of Trip Van der Bilt for two seasons on the CW series “Gossip Girl.” My thanks to my parents, brother and friends for their constant support and love. And to Elin Flack, to whom the words “thank you” could never even begin to express my gratitude.
