PETER FINE The son of a New York City cab
driver, Peter Fine is the quintessential New York entrepreneur. He grew up in public housing in
Queens and became a social worker, pursuing his Ph.D. in sociology at NYU. In 1995, he co-founded
Atlantic Development Group. In 13 years, the company has grown to become a major development, construction,
leasing and management company in New York. Atlantic has built 55 buildings in the last five years,
totaling more than $1 billion of mixed-use, residential, retail, office and community facility
projects in New York City. In the Heights is Peter's first B'way production.
