BYRON ESTEP
BYRON ESTEP (Stick/Zither) plays sticks and zither in the Blue Man Band. He is also an accomplished guitarist and composer. He released a CD of solo guitar pieces in 1994 entitled The First Night and was a member of the Unsung String Duo in 1995. He has performed his own music in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall to the Wooster Group's Performing Garage. He has also been a featured guest on the WNYV radio show "New Sounds." Byron is a graduate of Yale University where he studied philisophy. He recently completed a collaborative CD with Didgeridoo player and Blue Man Band member David Corter.
