PETER OSWALD Peter’s adaptation of Schiller’s Mary Stuart, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, opened to great acclaim at the Donmar Warehouse in July 2005 and subsequently transferred to the West End. Peter was writer in residence at Shakespeare’s Globe, and during his residency he wrote Augustine’s Oak, which opened there in 1999. The Golden Ass opened at Shakespeare’s Globe in summer 2002, and The Storm opened there in 2005. Fair Ladies at a Game of Poem Cards (National Theatre) is published by Methuen, and Augustine’s Oak, The Odyssey, The Ramayana, The Golden Ass, The Storm and Mary Stuart are all published by Oberon Books.
