GIANCARLO ESPOSITO

GIANCARLO ESPOSITO received Obie Awards for Zooman and the Sign at the Negro Ensemble Company and Distant Fires at the Atlantic Theater Company, where he is a company member. Broadway credits: Sacrilege, Merrily We Roll Along, Seesaw, Lost in the Stars, Don't Get God Started, The Me Nobody Knows, Via Galactica and Maggie Flynn. Giancarlo has appeared in such films as The Usual Suspects; King of New York; Night on Earth; Smoke; Bob Roberts; and opposite Queen Latifah in Last Holiday, Paul Newman in Twilight, Clive Owen in Derailed and Maggie Gyllenhaal in SherryBaby. He was also featured in the Spike Lee movies Do the Right Thing, Mo' Better Blues, School Daze, Jungle Fever and Malcolm X. He was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for his performance in Fresh. Other film credits: Ali, Nothing to Lose, The Box, A Killer Within, Feel the Noise and Cotton Club. Television credits: "Homicide: Life on the Street," "Law & Order" and "Kidnapped." Mr. Esposito recently completed his feature film debut as a director, writer and producer with Gospel Hill, to be released in 2008.
