MARISSA JARET WINOKUR created the role of Tracy in the original company of Hairspray, winning the Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actress. Recently, Marissa was a semifinalist and fan favorite on the ABC series "Dancing With the Stars." Winokur will be hosting a new series, “Dance Your Ass Off,” which is scheduled to premiere in summer ‘09 on the Oxygen Network. Film credits include Fever Pitch, Teaching Mrs. Tingle, Never Been Kissed, Scary Movie and American Beauty, where she immortalized the phrase "You are so busted." Marissa co-starred with Pamela Anderson in the FOX hit TV comedy “Stacked” and starred in the Lifetime movie “It Was One of Us” and “Beautiful Girl” on the ABC Family Channel, for which she also served as executive producer. Recurring and guest-starring TV roles include “Dharma and Greg,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Jack and Bobby,” “Just Shoot Me,” “Felicity” and “Get Real.” Marissa was recently a correspondent on TV Guide Channel's “Hollywood 411” and “Reality Chat.” A native of New York, Marissa currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, comedy writer Judah Miller, and their son Zev.
